A sustainable ‘Light&Shade’ lamp design took out ‘best of show’ at the 2008 Southern Cross Packaging Awards.
Light&Shade includes a cardboard light shade, four 18W energy efficient bayonet lamps and a ceiling light fitting. The light shades come in three different environmental designs and include tips on how to save
the earth.

The Australian Academy of Design today announced the approval of its new Fashion Design degree course.
The Bachelor of Design Arts (Fashion Design) will commence in 2009 as a three-year degree course.  The Academy course will provide the same total hours of study as other four-year degree courses.
