About

The Art & Design Education Resource Guide (ADERG) is the standard reference for courses offered in art and design at tertiary institutions in Australia and New Zealand. Commenced in 1983, ADERG is a Directory of courses, a showcase of graduate work and a selection guide for those wishing to undertake a course of study.
ADERG contains information about all of the institutions offering art and design courses as well as showcasing the work of recent graduates. The highly visual content is inspirational and informative.
ADERG is published in two formats (editions): online and in print.
The printed edition is published annually and contains colour pages of graduate work presented by institution/program/course, a subject selection matrix and a comprehensive directory of all courses.
The online edition contains the same information as appears on the colour pages but in an extended format; more pictures and more course information. In addition to the online galleries, there are downloadable ‘Print and File’ Course Information PDFs containing detailed information. There are numerous links throughout ADERG online to institution websites for further information and applications.
While the institutions all have their own websites, it can take time to visit all of the relevant sites and sort through the different presentation formats to find what you are looking for. The information in ADERG is presented in one place in a single format, making it by far the best place to find what to study, and where to study.
