Yuko Shimizu
Illustration where traditional Japanese prints meet surreal comic art.

Yuko Shimizu’s work is a combination of traditional Japanese graphic prints mixed with surreal comic art. Her technique results in some beautifully executed and alluring scenes: where she draws her basic forms and figures with Japanese calligraphy brushes and later digitally supplements them with additional colors and backgrounds.
